Oh, how I love a garden wedding! When Debby told me that she had planned for her wedding ceremony to be in colorful gardens of the Willows Lodge in Woodinville, I did a little happy dance inside. The Lodge is a charming hotel, and was made extra cozy on this October afternoon with a fire roaring in the lobby and lovely blooms still populating the extensive gardens. It was the perfect setting for Debby and Laurence's intimate and thoughtfully planned marriage. I love the sweet details that they incorporated, from the custom wax seal on the invitations, to the rich autumnal palette of the florals provided by The London Plane, to the cat-shaped macarons as favors, a nod to Laurence's business, as co-owner of the Seattle Meowtropolitan. To make it even sweeter, all of their friends and family helped out--setting up, acting as MC and even performing the ceremony. The couple read letters to their parents and to each other during the ceremony, a beautiful gesture that I absolutely loved. The best way to make your wedding day special to to add these personal touches and share the love!
